- One Accord
offer free marriage weekends (or mid-week breaks) to clergy couples, at venues in Bognor and in Totnes in Devon.
Inter-denominational teams run Bible-based weekends, with an emphasis on the active work of the Holy Spirit. The weekend is a good balance between talks and private time as a couple, and is designed to give clergy couples time to focus on each other and to enjoy their relationship. http://www.oneaccord.org.uk/marriage-courses.htm
- Supported or Suspended offers support for clergy wives in the transition to retirement, often a difficult time. www.supportedorsuspended.org
- Broken Rites is a support group for divorced and separated clergy wives. Tel 020 8943 4688 or 0114 268 2980 www.brokenrites.org
